DDJ Announcement: Joseph W. Lind promoted to assistant portfolio manager

September 8, 2011

DDJ is pleased to announce that Joseph W. Lind, CFA, has been promoted from the role of Senior Research Analyst to Assistant Portfolio Manager for DDJ’s high yield strategy.  Joe will support Anthony Ranaldi in the day-to-day management of DDJ’s high yield portfolios.

Given DDJ’s success with growing high yield assets, and in order to account for future growth of the strategy while maintaining superior performance and service levels for our clients, DDJ has determined this promotion to be a prudent action and one that is well-deserved by Joe, who has been, and continues to be, a valuable member of DDJ’s investment team during his tenure with the firm.

Joe joined DDJ in 2006 and has more than 11 years of experience in high yield, distressed and special situations investing.  Prior to joining DDJ, he was a senior research analyst at Coast Asset Management responsible for identifying investment opportunities for a Special Situations Hedge Fund.  Prior to joining Coast Asset Management in 2004, Joseph was a research analyst at Sierra Capital where he focused on investing in unsecured claims in Chapter 11 reorganizations.  Joe began his career as a trading assistant at The Helios Group where he researched and traded bond and equity derivatives.  He received his BA from Harvard University and is a CFA charter holder.
